Every year, the Board of Trustees prepares a budget which is presented to the public at a Public Hearing in April.  After hearing public comment, the budget is voted on and ultimately, a budget is adopted for the coming fiscal year which begins on June 1st.

Dear Residents;


As required by State Law the Village Mayor needs to submit a tentative budget to the Village Trustees by March 20 each year.  This past Friday, March 17, 2017 I submitted to the Trustees a balanced, zero tax increase budget for the fiscal year 2017 / 2018 for their consideration.


The few noticeable expenses for the upcoming year are:  a tax challenge settlement, repairs on the sunken bricks and handicap ramps on Covert Ave, the last of the repairs for the Village Hall renovations, and a new roof for the restrooms at the pool complex.


The Mayor's Tentative Budget is available for review at Village Hall and on the Village website.
