The 9-11 Memorial in Village Hall
Mayor James Kelly secured this piece of steel from the World Trade Center. It was dedicated on the tenth anniversary of the attack, September 11, 2011, at a ceremony on the lawn of the Stewart Manor Country Club. This memorial, built with great dedication over many hours by a Stewart Manor Fire Department volunteer who spent many months volunteering at ground zero after the attacks, is located just inside the door of the Village Hall. Part of the funding for this memorial was through a generous donation by the Stewart Manor Lions Club.
